Borbála Eszteri is a Hungarian painter living in Switzerland, whose creative journey began as a fashion and style designer. In 2020, Borbála began to pursue painting more seriously—starting with watercolor, then moving on to acrylic, and finally to oil painting.
Largely self-taught, Borbála has developed her art through intuition and emotion rather than external influences. She says her paintings are inspired mainly by inner feelings and the sensation of flow.
At the heart of Borbála’s art are women and figures captured in dance-like, fluid motion. Her richly textured works combine colors and materials in expressive ways, and she has exhibited both in group and solo shows in cities including Zurich, Basel, and Athens.
